At its core is a versioned ontology — a shared vocabulary of Yachting concepts (vessels, people, places, regulations, commerce, weather) organised into modular packs that extend without breaking existing integrations. Once a business verifies ownership of its domain, that ontology becomes a public, machine-readable manifest that AI assistants and crawlers can discover and rely on.
Every pack, object and API contract carries its own version number, and prior versions stay locked once promoted — so downstream integrations keep working as the ontology evolves.
